Day 135: Kiss this

What I'm watching today

The Kissing Booth 2 (2020, Netflix streaming) This is my How Did This Get Made? second opinion review: This movie is like Gilmore Girls took a dump, and then that dump wrote a screenplay about a bunch of DDR-obsessed rich assholes in a love trapezoid. One of them goes to Harvard. That's important. DDR is also important. It's actually the most important. There's a kissing booth, but ironically it's not that important. If you like watching actors in their late twenties pretend to be hormonal teenagers, or movie directors that don't understand how airport security works, then this is the movie for you. Two boys make out at the end (not a spoiler). Did I mention Harvard? FIVE STARS

Brews Brothers (2020, Netflix streaming) - The description for this show said that it was from "one of the creators of The League, and that was all I needed to hear. This show is about two estranged brothers who are brewmasters who must team up to save their ailing (see what I did there?) microbrewery. The show has funny jokes and some really good performances, but it's a little sparse on content and borders on the ridiculous. I'm still going to finish watching it for lack of something better to watch. Plus it actually includes real information/facts about brewing beer.

What was left was a smooth patch of barren soil. I'm sure there are undesirables lurking beneath the surface, so I'll let it lie for a few days before I do anything else with it. 51.  ✅  Deal with the shred pile This took days. I've been accumulating junk mail, old bills, and literally anything with my name, a family member's name, or our address on it for several months resulting in a two-foot tall stack of papers. It couldn't be done all at once, because (A) the shredder kept overheating, and (B) I kept running out of places to store the shreds. (They take up considerably more room than the unshredded sheets of paper.) 75  ✅  Clean off the workbench Getting rid of the shred pile was the main roadblock in completing this task, but it's done. And now there's a bike up ...
