Day 108: Hamiltonian circuits

What I'm watching today

Hamilton (2016, Disney+ streaming) - Yes, that's right folks: We went to see Hamilton. In our living room. In case you haven't heard, Disney+ is now streaming a live, original-cast performance of Hamilton from four years ago. I have to say, I really enjoyed it. Is it the best musical I've ever seen? Probably not. But it's ground-breaking, innovative, and actually quite educational. I was impressed with the level of historical accuracy that he play portrays, as it chronicles the life of one of the United States' most unsung, unappreciated, and unknown founding fathers. This performance did seem to be a little rough around the edges, so I don't know if it was a preview or just a very early performance. Jonathan Groff is amazing as King George. And Daveed Diggs as Thomas Jefferson and Lafayette deserves the half an EGOT he earned playing those roles.

Hamilton (2016, Disney+ streaming) - The weather was crappy, and we had nowhere to go. We watched it twice.

What was left was a smooth patch of barren soil. I'm sure there are undesirables lurking beneath the surface, so I'll let it lie for a few days before I do anything else with it. 51.  ✅  Deal with the shred pile This took days. I've been accumulating junk mail, old bills, and literally anything with my name, a family member's name, or our address on it for several months resulting in a two-foot tall stack of papers. It couldn't be done all at once, because (A) the shredder kept overheating, and (B) I kept running out of places to store the shreds. (They take up considerably more room than the unshredded sheets of paper.) 75  ✅  Clean off the workbench Getting rid of the shred pile was the main roadblock in completing this task, but it's done. And now there's a bike up ...
