What I'm doing today
Trifurcating - The order of business today was to remove as many old clothing items from my house as possible. In order to accomplish this I needed to go through the boys' old clothes, which I've already sorted, and further group the clothes into items for the new baby, items for my friend's new baby, and items to be kept in storage because they illicit an emotional reaction (nostalgia) from my wife or me. At the end of the day I had sorted through all sizes up to 12-months and moved seven bags from the basement to the back of my car to be delivered to my friend at a later date. I still need to go through all the clothes between the sizes of 18-months and 3T, but we'll knock that task out later.
Donating - In addition to the aforementioned bags of baby clothes, we also accumulated about five bags of other clothes and shoes that I've wanted to get rid of for a while. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, all of the ARC donation centers have been closed for weeks. So I had to brave the crowds at the main ARC store.
Mowing - Gave the lawn a once-over at the hottest, muggiest time of day. It was miserable.
