The temperature was supposed to get into the 90s today. Even though it never did, we were prepared. The older kids and I hit the backyard early this morning before the sun and heat could take its toll on us. We ran around, bounced on balls, planted some grass seed patch, looked at spiders and bees, played in the sandbox, and learned how to properly pull a weed. Then we shut ourselves indoors and never went outside again for the rest of the day.
