What I'm watching today
Happy Endings (2011-2013, Hulu streaming) - I've already made the rounds through The Office, Community, and New Girl recently, so what could be better than discovering that Happy Endings is streaming on Hulu? This is one of the best ensemble sitcoms ever; think Friends but done in the style of Scrubs. This show unfortunately only lasted three seasons, and the only explanation for that is that the American Broadcasting Company is dumb. In addition to featuring the comedic chops of Elisha Cuthbert (out of nowhere) and Casey Wilson, this show also launched the careers of Adam Pally and Damon Wayans Jr. I can't recommend this show enough. I didn't make a best shows of the 20-teens list, but if I did, this would be on it.

Exploring - I needed to drop some stuff off at the post office, and you know what that means: Black Forest. After leaving the post office we had some time to kill so we took the long way home and drove east through Black Forest out onto the plains. The weather was clear and perfect, and it seemed like we could see all the way to Kansas off in the distance. Ok probably not, but possibly all the way to Calhan, CO.
